Bisimilar Hybrid Systems

چکیده
The notion of bisimulation has escaped the world of continuous, and subsequently, hybrid systems. Recently, notions of bisimulation for continuous systems have been developed based on the categorical framework of Joyal, Nielsen and Winskel. In this paper, we combine known notions of bisimulation for discrete systems with recent notions for continuous systems and develop novel but natural notions of bisimulation for hybrid systems.

Symbolic Models for Retarded Jump-Diffusion Systems
In this paper, we provide for the first time an automated, correct-by-construction, controller synthesis scheme for a class of infinite dimensional stochastic hybrid systems, namely, hybrid stochastic retarded systems. First, we construct finite dimensional abstractions approximately bisimilar to original infinite dimensional stochastic systems having some stability property, namely, incrementa...
متن کاملApproximately Bisimilar Finite Abstractions of Stable Linear Systems
The use of bisimilar finite abstractions of continuous and hybrid systems, greatly simplifies complex computational tasks such as verification or control synthesis. Unfortunately, because of the strong requirements of bisimulation relations, such abstractions exist only for quite restrictive classes of systems. Recently, the notion of approximate bisimulation relations has been introduced, allo...
متن کاملApproximately Bisimilar Symbolic Models for Stochastic Switched Systems
Stochastic switched systems are a class of continuous-time dynamical models with probabilistic evolution over a continuous domain and controldependent discrete dynamics over a finite set of locations (modes). As such, they represent a subclass of general stochastic hybrid systems. While the literature has witnessed recent progress in the dynamical analysis and controller synthesis for the stabi...
متن کاملBisimulation for Communicating Piecewise Deterministic Markov Processes (CPDPs)
CPDPs (Communicating Piecewise Deterministic Markov Processes) can be used for compositional specification of systems from the class of stochastic hybrid processes formed by PDPs (Piecewise Deterministic Markov Processes). We define CPDPs and the composition of CPDPs, and prove that the class of CPDPs is closed under composition. Then we introduce a notion of bisimulation for PDPs and CPDPs and...
متن کاملApproximate Bisimulation and Discretization of Hybrid CSP
Hybrid Communicating Sequential Processes (HCSP) is a powerful formal modeling language for hybrid systems, which is an extension of CSP by introducing differential equations for modeling continuous evolution and interrupts for modeling interaction between continuous and discrete dynamics. In this paper, we investigate the semantic foundation for HCSP from an operational point of view by propos...
